Canine Retreat is a cage-free Dog Daycare and Pet Boarding facility that is voted a South Bay Favorite year after year in the Daily Breeze Poll! 

Canine Retreat enjoys more than 12,000 square feet of space. The large dog daycare and dog boarding areas are appointed with state-of-the-art rubber flooring, tunnels, ramps, dog houses and dog beds for your dog’s safety and enjoyment. At this pet hotel, dogs get to freely lounge with their best friends and settle in for a restful slumber with loving human attendants and other friendly and  relaxed canine companions.

Each of our dog loving staff members learns canine body language and canine group dynamics. All of our staff goes through a supervised training program complete with DVD tutorials, workbooks, quizzes and plenty of hands-on training that lasts approx. 3 months. This enables them to coordinate group activities, encourage appropriate play behavior and keep all our guests happy and safe. 

Our management team comes with extensive prior experience managing similar facilities, large shelters and even animal hospitals.
